Amber is my sister in law’s sister so we get to see each other at birthday parties and other fun events throughout the year. I also took her wedding photos a million years ago (seems to be the theme lately). It’s really fun to see everyone’s family evolve and get bigger throughout the years. Taking family pictures with little ones is not easy, but these little ones did so good and totally hammed it up for me so I was happy.
Let me begin the post with, “I don’t do newborns”. I’m just not a newborn photographer, but I wish I could be! Keira and Rob definitely aren’t new clients and I’m honored that they keep calling me back every year! Little Aven was a dream to photograph. She was sooo so tiny. I’ve never even held a baby so little. I almost don’t even like holding such cute babies because it makes me want another one…. and that’s not happening. Here’s my favorites!

I’ve known Cinthia since we were just teenagers getting into trouble and working at the library together (I know that sounds a little weird….trouble making library workers). She was one of my bridesmaids in my wedding and I had the opportunity to capture her wedding click here to view it. It makes me so happy to see her so happy and to see her adorable family growing. I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites so here’s a bunch to look at! Enjoy!

I am so excited to start debuting some of the images from my first round of my Christmas mini sessions! I’ve never done anything like this and it turned out so perfect. It was just enough time to grab some beautiful images, but not too much time for the husbands (I mean kids) to start throwing a fit. You know that you know what I’m talking about! I took Katie’s engagement photos forever ago and it makes me happy that she keep coming back for more pictures year after year. She is flawless and this family could be straight from a magazine. Here’s a few of my favorites!
I’ve had a bunch of people ask me about family portraits so I decided to throw these mini sessions together. We hired a photographer last year and did the same thing. It was actually perfect because by the end of our session our kids were so done (any longer and we could have seen melt down city). Short and sweet and and we got our images for our Christmas card. It was perfect. All spots are on a first come first serve basis. Your session will start at the time reserved (not when you arrive) so you might want to be a little early. Payment is due on or before your reservation. Please call or text me to reserve your spot. I’m really excited about this!

I feel really out of the loop. I haven’t updated this poor blog in forever, but I thought I’d share a little sneak peak at a special part of my family. My cute little niece Kelsey is getting married next week and I was able to capture some special moments for them…a.k.a. engagements! I hope they will look back these images in the future and it can take them back to this special time in their lives and relationship. I love looking back on my old pictures and it’s fun to travel back to those memories and special times. I hope you enjoy!

As I sat here at my computer desk I had pandora playing acoustic love songs and I was filled with all of the emotion of that special day. I’ve never seen a couple so emotionally connected. I didn’t even have to pose them. They were just so in love that their actions told the story I wanted to tell. I couldn’t narrow it down to only ten for my blog. I got to 50, and then 30. Here’s my favorite 30!
I swear this baby should only be a few months old, seven max! Nope, he just turned one. It seems like not THAT long ago I did this sweet little boy’s newborn portraits. I saw a quote the other day that said, “The best compliment you can give a photographer is to book them”. Keira you must be the master of compliments since I’ve now done your wedding, newborns and family portraits. Thank YOU! I love watching the family/love process and being able to capture those special moments.

I really do always get such good looking couples. I’m a lucky girl. Ryan and Cailee were meant to be my clients. With a Ryan and a Cailee both in my little family, I knew this was going to be a good session. If you’ve been to Floyd Lamb Park you know about all the crazy roaming peacocks. Sorry Ryan, but I didn’t know you had a bird phobia until that day…FAIL! We also encountered a million bees buzzing all over the beautiful blooming trees that I HAD to pose them around. Luckily, I love these images and I think it was worth it! Thanks Jen White for being my second shooter.
It just isn’t fair that some people are so dang beautiful and have a rockin’ body too. When editing these images my brain kept singing Take My Breath Away. The day of the wedding the sun was bad and we were out of time, so we decided to do a bridal session afterwards and man oh man am I glad we did. I love love love these images. I love the sun, this couple, the sexy way they posed… everything. I hope you enjoy them too!
