We have been so incredibly lucky to travel and experience areas of the world I have never seen before. We spent 10 days in Hawaii on the north shore of Oahu with two other families in a beach house and it was magical. I can’t wait to start decorating my home with images from our travels this summer! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
I don’t normally do sneek peeks, but since I will be out of town for a while I thought I would throw a few up so that you can get a taste of what’s to come. Thanks for stopping by!
Baby Kennedy will soon make her grand appearance! As for right now she’s safely nesting inside her beautiful mother. She is so lucky to have two parents who already love her and are anticipating her birth. The “pregnancy glow” is so evident here. I’ve know Karisa for a long time and she her pregnancy has given her an even brighter glow and such a refreshing maternal light. I’m so happy for her and Marc. I can’t wait to meet baby Kennedy!
Holy cow, it feels like it’s been a looooong time since I’ve posted anything! I’ve been trying to get these posted for a while but for some reason “life” always has other plans. I sure hope that I’m not the only person that “life” likes to bother!
Look for this couple in the future because I’ll be shooting their wedding this fall! They were so fun to shoot… despite the grumpy old man that yelled the “f bomb” at us on for not staying on the bridge. For some reason that can happen so I feel like I should warn anyone whom I might shoot in the future that I always attempt something really weird and crazy (and fun of course). Yep, that’s right, that means that YOU will be attempting something weird and crazy, so be prepared for an adventure! Thanks for the great shoot guys and being willing to sit on stickers and still smile!!!
One of my best friends, Jen White, is making her way into the crazy life of photography! She volunteered to shoot new portraits at her husband’s office. I came along and we needed to take our test shots. Who bettter to use than ourselves j/j? So Jen got this shot of me and I think it for sure makes my list as one of my favorite pictures I’ve had taken. Thanks Jen!

My husband and I were fortunate enough to get way for a relaxing vacation two weeks ago to the Bahamas! I did bring my camera, but these are just shots from the few times I took it with me. I wish I had set up a nice shoot, but we were having too much fun not doing anything! Here’s a few of my favorites.

Not only is it fun to shoot weddings for old friends, it’s even better to see that they are truly happy. Although these guys dated forever (like ten years or something crazy), these two are still very madly in love! The ceremony and sunset was romantic and the reception was crazy fun. I don’t know if I’ve ever laughed so hard at a reception. They had a great DJ www.djinlasvegas.com who got everyone up dancing and pullin’ some moves I’ve never seen before! Congratulations Cris and Jen and thanks for letting me capture your special day!

Go big or go home! I’m pretty sure Christine had that written on the front her wedding planning binder!
This wedding was amazing. It was located in the middle of nowhere (aka Death Valley), but the reception looked like a scene from a movie. My cute little niece was the flower girl (I included a couple images of her…. I couldn’t resist). Normally as the photographer, I am in charge of thinking of props to use. Christine brought me this way cool funky retro jeep. It was sooooooooooo perfect and I might have peed my pants a little when I saw it. I got so many fun pictures that I broke my 10 images rule, but I hope that you like them as much as me! Thanks for stopping by to take a peak!

Wow, it seems like FOREVER since I’ve posted anything! We are leaving to go on vacation soon and that been taking a ton on my time trying to get everything planned. Now I’m trying to be an all star and get all caught up before we leave…. we’ll see how that goes! This is my niece Brittany and I was really excited when she told me that she wanted to do something a little crazy for her senior portraits. Lucky for us, Vegas is the home of crazy so where do crazy people go?…… Downtown of course! I had fun playing around with my off camera flash, but I’m still learning and experimenting. I designed her announcement which I posted below and I included some others from our shoot! Thanks for looking!
