Welcome to my Blog!

I have ALWAYS had a passion for art and I like to think outside of the box. I received my degree in Art/ Graphic Design and I have narrowed down my photography passion to shooting WEDDINGS! I have become absolutely addicted to learning and experimenting with new techniques with every shoot. Although I la-la-LOVE what I do, I'm not just a mom with an expensive camera who just takes pictures for fun. I take my work very seriously, but I like to have fun and get crazy shots using different poses and crazy angles. I know your mom wants 99% of your shots to be beautiful full length gown shots..... but I'm not your traditional photographer.... sorry mom! I try to make my work artistic, modern, romantic, sexy, expressive, sensual and innovative. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Not everyone will love my work and that's great because I don't want to be your classic photographer. Please check out my work and see if it's what you're looking for. I hope that I am hired not just as a photographer, but as an artist. That being said.... I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy producing it!

Thanks for looking at my blog and please feel free to leave comments or use the contact me link..... or both! Thanks and have a great day!

Forney Family

I swear this baby should only be a few months old, seven max! Nope, he just turned one. It seems like not THAT long ago I did this sweet little boy’s newborn portraits. I saw a quote the other day that said, “The best compliment you can give a photographer is to book them”. Keira you must be the master of compliments since I’ve now done your wedding, newborns and family portraits. Thank YOU! I love watching the family/love process and being able to capture those special moments.

Ryan & Cailee Engagements

I really do always get such good looking couples. I’m a lucky girl. Ryan and Cailee were meant to be my clients. With a Ryan and a Cailee both in my little family, I knew this was going to be a good session. If you’ve been to Floyd Lamb Park you know about all the crazy roaming peacocks. Sorry Ryan, but I didn’t know you had a bird phobia until that day…FAIL! We also encountered a million bees buzzing all over the beautiful blooming trees that I HAD to pose them around. Luckily, I love these images and I think it was worth it! Thanks Jen White for being my second shooter.

Kelly Bridals

It just isn’t fair that some people are so dang beautiful and have a rockin’ body too. When editing these images my brain kept singing Take My Breath Away. The day of the wedding the sun was bad and we were out of time, so we decided to do a bridal session afterwards and man oh man am I glad we did. I love love love these images. I love the sun, this couple, the sexy way they posed… everything. I hope you enjoy them too!

Horn Family

I really love downloading my memory card and seeing such loving images like these. I can’t believe how many smile I was able to get out of a one year old! What a sweet girl and a beautiful little family.

Ricky & Taylor Wedding

Here’s that special couple AGAIN on their wedding day. Those Warburtons sure know how to throw a reception. Taylor’s classy vintage theme mixed with old fashioned fun made for a great night!

Ricky & Taylor Bridals

I really love this couple. These cute kids will be able to tell their children that they have been friends since they were in diapers. I’m calling them kids because Taylor was one of young women in church like 7 years ago when she really was just a kid. We use to joke around about her wedding night and it seemed like it was so many years away. Like always, time went by way too fast, and here we are. What beautiful people they are are. Wedding day images soon to come!

Oregon

Oregon will always hold a very special place in my heart. Ryan took me there on our honeymoon and it will always remind me of being young, free and overwhelmingly in love. We celebrated our ten year anniversary this summer and went back to Oregon. We had yet another great experience. We made some amazing and beautiful memories, but we will always remember our sad and shocking memories that we also experienced. On our last day in paradise we got an early morning call letting us know that Ryan’s father had passed away unexpectedly during the night. We cried together and walked miles on the beach. It was a chilly and overcast morning. The clouds were so thick that the sun was completely masked. Our landscape was grey clouds, thick white fog, icy blue water, tan sandy beaches and the loud sound of the crashing waves. We were so far away from home, but yet we felt so close to heaven. We were EXACTLY where Ken would have us be. Oregon is very special to us and here’s a small small glimpse of its beauty.

Mateo and Deanna Wedding

Your wedding day is usually the single most important day of your life. All that planning, time, stress, emotions, everything…. all for one day. It always gets me that people trust ME to capture that special day. Thank you Deanna for all the planning and detail you put into your wedding and for trusting me to preserve it through photographs. I’m still editing images, and there’s a bridal session to follow, but here are a few that I wanted to share.

San Fran

I never did post images from our San Francisco trip a few months ago so here’s a few…

Wedding and Family Portraits

I have never done anything like this and I wasn’t sure how it would turn out. I was hired to take images at a wedding for the bride’s sister’s family, but not as the wedding photographer. Luckily the bride was really really cool and laid back and didn’t mind at all. In fact, I think I might have even crossed the line at getting pictures of her too. :) The couple was there to soak up the atmosphere and have a great time at their reception. It turned out beautifully. Thanks for giving me this opportunity!
